La’Nardo Myrick Sr., Founder/ CEO of KLM Enterprises Services LLC, is proud to announce the next chapter in the company’s fashion journey: the rebranding of Baby Girl Elite Shoes and Apparel to Being Great Everyday (BGE) Shoes and Apparel.

Origins and Vision

The brand’s story began in December 2017, when La’Nardo Myrick founded Baby Girl Elite as a business model his daughters could inherit, expand, and use as a pathway to financial freedom. The company’s first apparel partnership was with ForUDesigns, a large E-commerce provider established in 2015. Earlier efforts with Cafepress were discontinued due to quality concerns, leading to a stronger collaboration with MyLocker, which fulfilled the apparel side of the business.

On the footwear side, Baby Girl Elite partnered with Italian shoe company AliveShoes, providing a platform to design, manufacture, and ship exclusive footwear under the BGE trademark. Together, these partnerships created a brand that embodied ambition and opportunity.

Community Commitment

From the beginning, BGE was rooted in service as much as style. The company committed to sponsoring two Kansas City high schools—Brookside Charter and Southeast High School—by outfitting female athletes with apparel and shoes. This initiative underscored the company’s mission: empowering youth while creating high-quality, profitable products for men and women alike.

Leadership and Design

The company is currently led by interim CEOs La’Nardo and Kinnette Myrick, CFO, with designers La’Shonda, Jeanne, and Krishan Myrick driving creative direction. Together, the family has built BGE into a brand that balances entrepreneurship, community impact, and innovation in fashion.

Why the Rebrand?

The decision to rebrand from Baby Girl Elite to Being Great Everyday reflects a broader, more inclusive vision. “It has been a challenge to cater to all sexes when the stigma of ‘Baby Girl’ is embedded in the logo,” said CEO La’Nardo Myrick Sr. “With this rebrand, we’re ensuring that our brand represents empowerment, inclusivity, and the mindset of striving for greatness—every single day.”

The rebranded Being Great Everyday line will introduce:
